    Boilermaker - Gauteng

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Health and safety
    • Ensure to always wear correct PPE
    • Attend pre-shift meetings
    • Report unsafe conditions and -behavior
    • Adhere to FA and client policies and procedures
    • Always behave safe

    Maintenance and fabrication

    • Implement maintenance schedules
    • Maintains\repairs all mechanical equipment
    • Conduct plant inspection on all key mechanical equipment
    • Identifies and prioritise equipment in need of maintenance/repairs
    • Plans down time for repairs/maintenance
    • Plans for material and men to assist
    • Do risk assessment/study procedures
    • Do repairs/maintenance Fabricate general steelwork

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12/N3 - Mechanical engineering subjects
    • Trade test-Boilermaker - MQA/MERSETA preferred

    EXPERIENCE

    • 5 years minimum post trade test experience as Boilermaker (Section 13
    • Artisan)
    • 2-year Learnership/Apprentice in Mining or Construction
