    Eskort Brand Representative

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • BCom Degree in Business, Marketing Communications, or related field is required.
    • Diploma in Business, Marketing Communications, or related field is required.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Proven work experience (minimum of two year’s) as a Sales Representative.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
    • Valid driver’s license is mandatory.

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
    • Working knowledge of CRM systems.

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
    • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

     Customer Relationships

    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
    • Complete weekly call cycles at relevant retail stores (PnP, Shoprite, Spar etc.) 10 to 15 calls per day.
    • Grow and maintain a customer database by building sound relationships.
    • Continuously seek new opportunities.
    • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.

    Sales Targets

    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.

    Monthly Reporting

    • Submit monthly reports (performance and competitors in our landscape).
    • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

    Other

    • Attend meetings as and when required at designated locations – Manager or Customer Meetings.
    • Collaborate with Clover and Vector Sales/Merchandisers etc. to drive the business performance.
    • Attend trade shows and marketing events as required.

    Food Safety Co Ordinator - Estcourt

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Degree in Microbiology or other relevant qualifications

    EXPERIENCE

    • 5 year’s previous experience in a FMCG Production or Manufacturing environment including managing Food Safety Systems and external audits.

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

    • Strong knowledge of mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods.
    • Good technical and IT skills

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Excellent communication and listening skills. Problem solving and people management skills will be an advantage

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA’S)

    QUALITY ASSURANCE

    • Constantly updating documents on new Food Safety standards, legislation, and or other requirements.
    • Acting as the Company’s Food Safety Coordinator (FSSC22000) and Hygiene Officer (Meat Safety Act).
    • Ensure continuous improvement on product Food Safety and product Quality.
    • Setting compliance specification of raw materials and finished products regarding Micro and Chemistry looking at relevant legislation.
    • Manage Internal Audit processes and do problem solving to find root causes on Quality deviations.
    • Arrange Food Safety meetings and management review meetings.
    • Compiling of HACCP studies, process flow and processing procedures.
    • Decide for external audit and ensure requirements are met during audit.
    • Ensure that customer complaints are attended to, action is taken, and feedback is given to management.

    QUALITY CONTROLLER

    • Managing all Quality and Laboratory staff inclluding but not limited to discipline in the workplace, time keeping and ensuring all personal hygiene checks are done before production begins.
    • Ensure staff follow Company SOP’s and policies.
    • Communicate to staff in morning meetings regarding issues brought to your attention during your meetings (for example customer complaints, production focus areas).
    • To ensure that all staff are productive at all time.

    LABORATORY

    • Design of documents, procedures and reports for the Laboratory as and when required.
    • Managing budgets.
    • Ordering of lab consumables.
    • Lab results verification.
    • Ensure tat area is working to recognized standard.
    • Ensure proficiency testing is done and logging and analysing of proficiency.
    • Typing COA’s as requested.
    • Make sure that product tested are tested according to the sampling plan.
    • Make sure that COA’s are available for export audits.

    IMPLEMENT AND MAINTAIN 5S AND QUANTUM LEAN METHODS

    • To be discussed in morning meetings.
    • Ensure all your boards are updated.
    • Ensure suggestions are submitted.
    • Hold fishbowl meetings and small group activities, etc

    Production Supervisor - Forming Department

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist and supervise the staff during the preparation of emulsion for forming.
    • Operate meat processing equipment such as former, fryer, Gyro and flow wrapper packaging machine.
    • Monitor production lines to ensure the smooth flow of meat products.
    • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Maintenance department.
    • Package and label meat products according to quality standards and customer specifications, whilst ensuring accuracy and consistency.
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the production area, including regular cleaning of equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
    • Follow food safety regulations and hygiene practices to prevent contamination and ensure product quality and safety.
    • Assist in inventory management tasks, including receiving, storing, and rotating raw materials and finished products.
    • Work collaboratively with staff members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, attendance, and punctuality.
    • Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance job skills and knowledge.
    • Provide daily shift reports to the Production Manager.

    Qualification

    • National Diploma or Certificate in Production and Operation Management.

    Experience

    • 3-5 years experience in a supervisory capacity within the meat processing or food manufacturing industry.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Knowledge and understanding of forming multi head weigher and flow wrap packing system.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
    • Basic math skills for measuring and weighing ingredients and products.
    • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required.
    • Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as and when required.
    • Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.
    • Basic Knowledge of HACCP.
    • Food safety and good manufacturing practices.
    • Knowledge of FSSC22000.
    • Basic knowledge of Quantum lean, Shopware and Meat Matrix.
