    Assistant Golf Director - George

    • In your capacity as Assistant Golf Director you will be assisting the Golf Director with the quality of the golfing experience, product and services.
    • Key responsibilities will be Member interaction through various Club competitions and activities and management of golf groups. Ensuring the golf experience is achieved through training and upskilling of staff.

    We consider the following criteria as essential:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent; relevant PGA qualification or a current Professional Golfer (ideal a Club Management Diploma);
    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a 5* environment; specialist knowledge of offering a world-class golfing experience; financial and people management skills; guest / member focused and detailed orientated; managing guest / member expectations and enhancing their experience.

    Commis Chef - George

    • The ideal candidate will be creative, have a keen eye for detail, be able to work in a fast paced, highly pressurised environment, be able to lift, carry and handle large utensils and food produce and be able to work long and flexible hours from time to time.
    • The position also requires that the candidate has a minimum qualification of Grade 12 or equivalent, and 6 months formal chef’s training, coupled with at least 1 years’ experience as a pastry chef with bakery focus in a quality production kitchen. Experience within a 4*/5* environment will be advantageous.

    Content Creator - George

    DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

    • Develop, manage, and implement various forms of content for media and marketing solutions and campaigns across all marketing disciplines and platforms;
    • Develop and manage both internal and external communications including editorial, social media and audience development efforts for all branded content;
    • Ensure that all media, communication and brand exposure initiatives and content is aligned;
    • Write editorials, blogs and news content on relevant topics;

    Director of Golf - George

    • In your capacity as Director of Golf you will be responsible to manage, continuously develop, control, plan, direct, and coordinate, at both a tactical and strategic level, all aspects of the golf business. This involves providing a clear vision for its strategic direction, whilst taking personal responsibility for identifying additional sales and marketing opportunities, ensure customer service excellence is consistently delivered, and revenues and profitability are maximised.

    Front Office Manager - George

    • The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal and communication skills, have good product knowledge, be friendly, guest centric, a team player and have a keen eye for detail. Grade 12 or equivalent, with 5 year’ experience in a supervisory or managerial position within the hospitality environment is required as well as working knowledge of MS Office & CIMSO. A Hospitality qualification; a valid driver’s license and knowledge of SAP will be advantageous. 

    Duties include, but are not limited to: 

    • Customer service delivery (Front Desk, Reception, Switchboard and the Porter Desk), attend to guest requests/complaints; note VIP’s;
    • Operations – maintain, uphold & improve SOPs; ensure sufficient staff man all areas; float checks; guest profiles captured correctly; follow-up on open balance status with Accounts department;
    • Finance – monitor & control departmental expenses; review after departure charges; liaise with Accounts department regularly;
    • People management – develop team; conduct performance appraisals; maintain/administer discipline; plan & approve leave.

    Golf Course Supervisor - George

    • We are looking for someone who can add his / her skills to the team, and someone that takes great pride and pleasure in caring for one of the premier golf courses in the world. 
    • The ideal candidate will be a reliable and responsible worker, who passed Grade 12 or equivalent, has a valid driver’s license and has gained at least 7 years of golf maintenance experience. Experience in operating turf grass maintenance equipment/machinery will be an advantage. 
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible to manage the daily operations at The Links Golf Course Maintenance.

    Duties include, but are not limited to: 

    • Supervise maintenance operations;
    • Supervise staff and the allocation of duties;
    • Ensure health and safety standards are kept.
    • The successful candidate will be physically fit to carry out all reasonable duties associated with this role, and will be able and willing to work additional hours, weekends and public holidays. This job will also require the successful candidate to work in all kinds of weather conditions.

    Nail Technician - George

    • We are looking for someone that is certified and experienced in manicures and pedicures including hands and feet massages. Additionally to this, a Nail Technology Certificate is required (specifically for UV cured brush on gel, sculptured gel overlays & tips, acrylic overlays & tips and or a similar recognized qualification. Advantageous to be certified in callas removal treatments such as medi-heel as well as paraffin dip, buff and soak offs. Ideal to have Hotel Spa experience or experience in a 5* environment. 

    Duties include, but are not limited to: 

    • Providing various forms of specialised hands, feet and nail treatments to guests and members;
    • Providing homecare advice and retailing health and beauty merchandise;
    • Performing reception duties when required, (Including making bookings, appointment reminder calls, reverting to emails and follow up requests. Assist all guests for check in and out;
    • Encourage the return of clients of the SPA;
    • Perform thorough consultations with every guest to obtain and update client personal details, medical records, current homecare, and obtain their main concerns to focus on and customise treatment accordingly;
    • Transfer and update all client data on the clients profile in the system & perform follow-up courtesy calls;
    • Cash up at the end of the shift, when required;
    • Upsell products and treatments to increase profitability;
    • Guest Orientations.
