    Human Resources Business Partner - Corporate and ER Lead

    Job description

    The Corporate Human Resources Business Partner and ER Lead provides corporate brands and departments strategic HR guidance.
    This role will lead all Employee Relations issues across brands and departments.

    Responsibilities

    • Acts as Human Resources Generalist for corporate employees.
    • Takes the lead and supports HRBP’s and brands/ departments on IR issues by providing advice and support on all labour related issues. Provides support to all HRBP’s on ER issues
    • Keep updated with legislation to ensure compliance
    • Update policies and procedures according to labour legislation and communicate to the necessary parties.
    • Ensure managers receive the necessary ER training
    • Facilitate dispute hearings and ensure due process followed
    • Represent the company at the CCMA
    • Drive HR strategies to achieve business goals.
    • Provide guidance to line mangers on HR issues.
    • Responsible for HR matters relating to designated brand or department
    • Build strong relationships with Brands and Departments through effective communication and follow up
    • Responsible for HR generalist functions at a corporate level
    • Responsible for end to end recruitment of corporate employees
    • Participate in all HR projects and activities as required
    • Participate in Talent management, employee engagement, performance management and all HR strategic programmes as required.

    Experience

    • Minimum five (5) years experience in Human Resources
    • HR degree
    • Additional studies/certification in ER

    • Passion for HR and ER
    • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across multiple professional levels, and has comfort working with senior leadership
    • Proven success in delivering results; strong approach to developing business cases
    • Strong problem-solving ability, critical thinking and exceptional decision quality
    • Solid understanding of local employment legislation and policies
    • Ability to professionally and sensitively resolve employee issues
    • Experience developing and managing people-related initiatives
    • Excels at delegation and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Adapts quickly to changing needs and priorities, and manages ambiguity
    • Detail-oriented and innovative
    • Takes personal initiative and sets the example for others
    • Uses good judgment and discretion at all times
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, including facilitation and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in technology
    • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
