    Sales Executive

    Job Description

    Located in: Century City, Cape Town

    Suite 13, 9 Oxbow Cres, The Estuaries, Century City (33° 53' 7.1246'' S, 18° 31' 10.3145'' E)

    Principal Functions

    Responsibility to:

    • Acquire new business and perform sales functions for our customers – influence, promote and conclude sales of CSSI’s products and services.
    • Establishing relationships with customers, following-up on business transactions, compiling quotes and communicating to the manager on any information acquired (Market surveillance).
    • Compile reports, have some knowledge on storage products & devices. You will be required to learn the company product offering prior to joining, demonstrate and acquaint yourself with procedures and policies to be followed by regulations of the company.
    • Maintain a good appearance and good manner towards our clients, maturity and control are a big aspect to maintaining the structure.

    Main duties:

    • Excellent communication skills (Bilingual – big advantage)
    • Knowledge and experience to structure and maintain daily tasks, plan effectively and strong ability to sell and close deals
    • Co-ordinate daily account management and sales functions
    • Maintain and schedule appointments/ meetings with prospective and current customers
    • Client orientated – keep client satisfied and make necessary arrangements to do so
    • Develop new business, manage process of sales from start to final deal
    • Meet set targets and objectives by structured planning and devotion
    • Identify new opportunities, communicate tasks and follow up in professional manner
    • Relationship building (long term)
    • Forecasting, pipeline production and reporting
    • Meeting and achieving Management expectations, Driven and goal-orientated
    • PROACTIVE by establishing new business and opportunities whilst maintaining existing clientele
    • Be up to date on current Market and Local events
    • CSSI has strict requirements in terms of being on time, comply with deadlines and goal attainment. You will work in a rewarding environment, and be required to be a part of a niche and professional team.

    Ensure customers are satisfied:

    • Perform any customer relations tasks and functions that may present themselves
    • Acquire good relationship with customers to ensure continues business
    • Ability to perform and prepare presentations and reports when required
    • Different teams acquire different needs, specific details required to accomplish task, create all-in-one overview
    • Attend PR functions, sales meetings and functions and customer and supplier events.
    • Maintain up to date policies and interactions with colleagues and clients
    • Excellent speaking and people skills required – must have balance in confidence and humble approach

    Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric and experience in Sales, Marketing or Management. (Must have University Exemption)
    • Experience in an IT related position, or an IT marketing position, with a proven track record would be a bonus.
    • Skills in operating Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook Exchange and Calendar functions.
    • A Minimum typing skill level of 30 WPM (Words per minute)
    • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
    • Articulate and professional in conversing with clients and great communication skills
    • Ability to balance work life and personal life, with wellbeing and healthy background
    • Manage stress and deadlines and a proven record of such.
    • The ability to communicate at Management level; both internally and with external clients.

    • Ability to handle customers and individuals in a professional manner at all times.
    • Able to handle conflict and manage problem situations internally and externally
    • Great inter-personal skills, good listener, stay enthusiastic
    • Rational and capable of making and supporting decisions
    • Perform well within team environment – promote a high morale within company

    Salary Range:

    Package of up to R32,000 per month with OTE, plus additional quarterly commission structure on candidate’s ability to look after clients and conclude sales. The basic salary with OTE (On-Target Earnings) will be determined with each qualifying candidate. Medical aid is an optional plan with the company.

    Age Range: 21 and over
