National Sales and Marketing Manager at Rapid Allweiler Pumps

On behalf of our client, MARPRO is looking for a commercial profile with technical understanding and sales, marketing & management experience.

The role:

The new Sales and Management Manager will be responsible for an annual budget of 5-6 Mill. US$ and it is expected that the profile will contribute to the growth by implementing and executing a dedicated Sales & Marketing Strategy and by leadership of the company’s sales team in the 3 branches and the Agent Network. The Sales and Marketing Manager will furthermore oversee strategic Direct Sales and is responsible for key-accounts.

To succeed with this role, you:

• are experienced with B2B sales
• have management experience
• have a technical background – or experience from a technical company
• preferably have experience with pumps
• are in South Africa – or are prepared to re-locate for own expenses
• have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive on the growth of the company you work for
• know how to inspire sales people
• are prepared to travel 60-80 days a year, primarily in the African continent and with an annual sales conference abroad. In 2017 the conference will take place in Las Vegas.
