    Office Manager

    Job description

    Summary

    We’re looking for a super organised person to help us keep everything running behind the scenes.
    Our established Software Engineering company is looking for a confident self-starter who has experience with office accounting and is PC literate to join our team as an Office Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
    • Handling day-to-day office administration.
    • Running office errands.
    • Reconciling and managing office running costs and budgets.
    • Managing office access control, parking allocation and logistics.
    • Managing office repairs and maintenance.
    • Monitoring, ordering and purchasing office supplies.
    • Assisting with the recruitment process.
    • Assisting with Finance and Human Resources related tasks.
    • Assisting with the filing of office paperwork.
    • Assisting the Directors with tasks such as organising meetings, making travel arrangements and reconciling travel costs etc.
    • Managing the Office Cleaning staff.
    • Assisting the Marketing Team with arranging staff events.
    • Occasionally answering phones and welcoming guests to the office.
    • Assisting with improvements to streamline and optimize the running of the SOLIDitech offices.
    • Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks.

    Qualifications / Experience

    • Matric (Grade 12) essential.
    • Good PC literacy skills with at least 18 months experience using Microsoft Word/Excel.
    • At least 18 months of previous office accounting experience including invoicing, reconciliations and purchasing.
    • At least 12 months of previous administration or event organization.

    • Keen interest in technology
    • Friendly and enjoys helping and working with people
    • Honest and hardworking
    • Able to drive a vehicle and have a valid South African driver’s license
