Job description

Responsibilities We are looking for a skilled technician to

• Perform field service activities according to the work plan.
• Perform overalls and repairs on assemblies on site or in workshops.
• Interact with customers during the work execution.
• Create service work reports.
• Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä QHSE guidelines and customer site procedures.

Requirements Education

• Bachelor's degree (B.Eng, B.Sc or B.Tech) Mechatronic Engineering
• Experience (working With And Know-how)
• Minimum 3 years active work experience in a Field Service environment
• High level software programming experience
• PLC programming and monitoring (Siemens S7,Schneider and Allan Bradley)
• Internal combustion engines
• Alternators / Generators
• AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulators) / DECS (Digital Excitation Control Systems)
• Engine Control Systems (WECS / UNIC)
• Governors, Sensors and Transducers
• LV Electric motor pumps and fans
• HV Breakers, Power Relays, Generator Protection Relays
• Plant networking and communications (Ethernet, Fibre Ethernet, CAN-Bus, CAN-Open, Modbus)

• Computer literate
• Fault-finding and troubleshooting
• Process and instrumentation diagrams, wiring diagrams
• Report writing
• Team player with strong communication skills
