JOB DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS

Job Summary

Role includes planning for production needs and to set production targets and oversee the production team’s work on the production floor. To coordinate, direct and oversee the manufacturing of products in the factory. To meet organizational production goals efficiently and safely while exceeding minimum quality standards. Stock control including tracking and accounting for the parts we use in order to show how much stock we have at any one time.

Your role wil inculde but may not be limited to the following Key responsiblities:

Production Control

• Production planning and initiation prior to commencement of production.
• Ensure that all work is performed in most timeous and efficient manner possible.
• Draft a timescale for each job on the client order board.
• Monitoring the production schedule and adjusting schedules as needed.
• Monitor product standards by implementing and maintaining quality control programs.
• Ensure products meet destination requirements, such as arranging external inspections (e.g. SASO)
• Liaising with different departments including accounts and client service.
• Managing the Assembly process.
• §As part of quality control ensure that products are produced on time and of expected quality to drawing specifications and specific customer requirements, which includes all relevant administration.
• Preparing goods for shipment including packing and dispacth instructions.
• Provide a weekly verbal production progress report.
• Create a monthly written production report.
• Ongoing, consistant communication with client service to update the clients regarding any design issues/ changes, time delays, special finishes, electrical changes or any other special requirements etc.
• Ongoing communication with Creative Director regarding design matters related to current production.
• Create quotes for repair jobs when needed as well as technical assistance to client service.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Ensure the stock control policies and procedures are followed and streamlined.
• Manage all purchase orders, deliveries and dispatch procedures.
• Supply Chain Management. Organizing collection and movement of components.
• Maintaining tools to adhere to industries standards and calibrated.
