Support Engineer at UNIWISP

Job description

Basic Role:

• Technical Support on first, second and third line support calls
• Standby one week each Month and after hours availability during emergencies
• Wireless and router equipment design, setup and implementation
• VOIP implementation, fault finding and development
• Website / Email / Domain hosting support
• Windows Server support, implementation and backups
• Linux Server support, implementation and backups
• Full OSI Network troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Supporting field technicians
• Pre-sales support, design and quotation, implementation and post-sales
• Documentation and project administration

Minimum Qualifications/Knowledge Requirements:

• Valid CCNA+ Certification with 2 Years relevant experience
• Valid MCSE Certification with 3 Years relevant experience
• Excellent in-house support experience
• Excellent documentation, verbal and written skills
• Excellent understanding of IP networks & the OSI model and routing protocols
• Vast experience with setting up and configuring of switches and routers
• Great Windows Server knowledge
• Great understanding of wireless technologies
• Good Understanding of SIP, IAX2 and VoIP in general
• Good Asterisk knowledge
• Good Linux Knowledge
• Good Domains and website hosting experience
• Some web design experience or good CMS knowledge
• 5 Years ICT experience
