    Sales Manager

    Job description

    A typical day:

    • Responsible for managing the sales team [internal & external]
    • Maintain a high energy, motivational and high-performance sales environment
    • Achieving team target – with support from local/UK management
    • Responsible for accurate sales forecasting, including sales reporting.
    • Ensure that forecast and client data is entered and managed accurately and timely within the company’s CRM
    • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
    • Responsible for conducting regular staff appraisals/KPIs
    • Attending customer meetings with account managers – key accounts, account review meetings and ad-hoc meetings
    • Representing the sales team at all local and Group management meetings
    • Setting sales incentives
    • Assisting in the preparation of Sales Budgets
    • Creating and executing sales strategies
    • Monitoring and driving team to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded monthly and quarterly – from both individuals and the team
    • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
    • Strategically managing a sales team as well as sales volumes
    • Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities in the market
    • Motivate teams to achieve target, and actively gain market share from competitors
    • Manage strategic customer relationships, with emphasis on client retention
    • Build and drive ADP’s for all named accounts
    • Managing staff performance (hold regular 1-on-1’s)

    What we're looking for:

    • Proven Managerial Experience with similar sales and product management background.
    • (minimum 3 years management experience and at least 3 years sales experience)
    • Must have technical sales knowledge of networking/IT products
    • Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to build up the sales team and be a strong leader.
    • Target driven
    • Excellent work ethic: detail-oriented, energetic, get-things-done attitude and take responsibility to deliver positive results beyond expectations
    • Ability to build productive, growth-focused business relationships - Sound ability to communicate effectively across all levels
