    National Sales Director

    Job description

    Responsibilities:

    • Meet and exceed Company revenue expectations
    • Mange a team of individual revenue contributors
    • Proven ability to take Company strategy and break those down to employee specific activities and deliverables

    Achieves regional sales operational objectives by: 

    • Contributing and presenting regional sales information;
    • Recommendations to strategic plans and reviews;
    • Preparing and completing action plans;
    • Resolving problems;
    • Identifying trends;
    • Determining regional sales system improvements;
    • Implementing change.

    Sales financial objectives achieved by:

    • Accurate forecasting;
    • Providing input into an annual budget; 
    • Maintains customer base by counseling district sales representatives; 
    • Building and maintaining rapport with key customers; 
    • Identifying new customer opportunities;
    • Expands into new markets and new customer names by implementing training programmes, communicating and monitoring activity expectations and designing, implementing and monitoring new business initiatives;
    • Demonstrates deep knowledge, understanding and experience using and implementing a repeatable programmatic approach to sales;
    • Identifies new solution opportunities, and/or solutions;
    • Surveying consumer needs and trends; 
    • Tracking competitors;
    • Works closely with at all levels with the Companies partners and vendors in order to strengthen relationships and expand opportunities for the Company;
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; 
    • Reading professional publications; 
    • Maintaining personal networks.

    Qualifications:

    • High energy, achievement oriented senior sales leader
    • At least 15 years of sales experience selling enterprise software
    • 10 years managing Sales
    • Success in small fast growing environments (i.e. Resource constrained)
    • Experience in managing sales teams in a fast changing dynamic environment
    • Proven and demonstrable ability to motivate team members
    • Consistent achievement with a background in exceeding quota
    • Knowledge in selling complex solutions
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
