Project Manager: Year Fixed Term Contract Minimum Requirements and Attribute

  Relevant degree in Project, Programme or Portfolio Management- PMP or equivalent qualification- Project Management knowledge according to the International Standards i.e. PMBOK, Prince II etc.- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in programme/ project management, strategic planning and general management- Working knowledge of applicable legislation such as PFMA- Sound knowledge of Project Management Tools- Results-driven, customer focused strategist with excellent planning, organizing and communication skills (written and verbal)- Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills- Analytical and critical thinking Key Responsibility Areas

Responsibilities

• The incumbent will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will assume the role of a Project Manager and will be responsible for all company CAPPEX projects with the following responsibilities
•  Manage the CAPEX Projects of the organisation as well as the company Land project
• Effective management of company facilities
• Create a detailed work plan which articulates the activities needed to successfully manage project
• Identify the milestones and deliverables of projects- Determine the resources (budget, human resources, time etc.) required to execute projects-
• Secure acceptance of project plans from the key stakeholders
• Manage risk and change management
• Execute projects according to the approved project plans
• Ensure all projects related information is appropriately documented and filed
• Continuously evaluate the progress of projects and make adjustments in line with the approved project governance, to ensure the successful management of projects
• Source and secure external investors or partners for company Projects

Salary: R650K to R695K (Depending on Exp)
