Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement HR and training strategy processes and procedures as per Group HR strategy and plan
- Provide a best practice HR service
- Handle recruitment from compiling together a Job Spec for advertising to appointment of ideal candidate
- Labour relations administration Guide counselling sessions
- Advice line management correctly Ensure correct procedure
- Handle New Starter administration orientation and induction
- Monthly payroll administration
- Coordinate handle or assist with all training initiatives and ensure appropriate reporting
- Responsible for all HR administration including Pension Medical Aid Loans Bursaries etc
- Keep HR Database GPD and electronic HR Filing System up to date
- Handle all disciplinary and grievance issues under guidance of ER Advisor
- Ensure statutory compliance Employment Equity plans committees and reports for certain Business Units
- Employee participation and EAPs eg Wellness Day
- Performance management coordination and guidance to line management
- Handle all ER issues within region
- Exit Management
- Handle Retrenchments
- Handle Poor Performance Management processes
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in HR
- At least 3 to 5 years experience as a Generalist Human Resources Business Partner
- Computer literate in MS Word MS Excel and PowerPoint an Advantage
- VIP People experience would be advantageous
