• Ensure effective coordination of document flow between engineering and operations.
• Works requests authorisation to works orders, as per TALCM feedback.
• Summarising of major maintenance checklists i.e. TM roll maintenance.
• Assuring equipment numbering is up to date.
• Control of planning data clerk for collection and distribution of works orders and requests per departments.
• Feedback on outstanding requests and progress of jobs.
• Act as consultant to KC Epping facility in the implementation of new CMMS.
• Administration of the plant modification system.
• Ensure effective coordination document flow between Kimberly Clark and the Planned Maintenance Service Providers.
• Works requests authorisation to works orders.
• Collection and distribution of works orders and requests per departments.
• Feedback on outstanding requests and progress of jobs.
• Tracking of work orders and work requests.
• Effectively plan and coordinate shut activities.
• Setting up pre, mid & post shut meetings.
• Drawing up shut schedules with the assistance of production and engineering departments.
• Preparing gantt charts for shuts and updating during shut meetings.
• Collect data on durations and requirements of maintenance jobs/tasks, with the intention of identifying areas of improvement in terms of efficiency and effectiveness of these tasks.
• Ensure that records of all statutory requirements and maintenance documents are up to date and to flag areas that require them in advance.
• Lifting equipment.

• Driven machinery.
• GRC Planned Maintenance Guidelines (PMG’s).
• Ensure that the equipment numbering system is functional and relevant.
• Ensure all equipment are numbered and kept up to date.
• Ensure that KPI’s information is valid and accurate and reported to the correct individuals timeously, in accordance with TALCM principles and strategies.
• Analyse data from the maintenance system, vibration analysis etc with the intention of
• identifying problematic areas and areas of high risk with respect to failures.

Minimum Requirements

• NQF Level 6, Mechanical Engineering (National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering).
• Excellent Computer literacy skills, preferably CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of Fitting, Turning and Electrical.
• 5 years maintenance experience in FMCG and/or Pulp and Paper Industry.
• Good initiative, good attitude and potential to learn is vital.
