    Digital Marketing Specialist

    Job description

    Job Purpose

    Nestle is the world's leading nutrition, health and wellness company. We’re looking to add great new talent to our dynamic Marketing Team. [THRO1] This role involves ownership and co-leading the execution of key aspects of our aligned Digital & ecommerce Roadmap. Our primary goal is to help the business win with digital capabilities and tools and to ensure digital is properly integrated into Brand Building the Nestle Way (BBNW). In addition, the role will provide support to the aligned Business Unit in building and maintaining successful digital marketing, social, ecommerce and digital transformation initiatives. Developing and improving capability in digital marketing for all Categories and Businesses is a core objective of the role.

    • Business Support:
      • Digital initiatives (encompassing all web and social activities) by providing solutions, standards, guidance and knowledge transfer. Proactively advise on digital topics and generate pull from the industry for digital initiatives and also to use the digital services and assets provided by Digital Services Unit. NDG: tracking on Registration, machines sold. All Brands in category: Social media industry and global benchmarks in place to track performance. Social listening and ongoing competitor analysis.
    • Digital Execution :
      • Aims to deliver best in class services and solutions and being proactive on the guidelines and solutions for the business by working closely with agencies, development partners and industry leaders.
      • Regular benchmarking/ assessing against industry best practices and solution
      • Coordinate the escalation of critical issues and resolution by the appropriate
      • Communications Department Crisis Protocols.
      • Selecting and Managing key partners, agencies, suppliers and platforms against digital plans
      • Delivery and execution of digital best practices and frameworks (via training, online sharing platforms and other means)
      • Direct consumer interaction through real-time interactions (CRM, social media platforms, etc.)
      • Manage the monthly CRM program using industry and global benchmarks to track picture of success.
      • Develop, update and execute local digital strategy in alignment with global digital roadmap (including social media and crisis management)
    • Ecommerce Execution
      • On shelf availability projects
      • Oversee the NDG.com content system to reflect the latest content, imagery and campaigns (global launch, local campaign)
      • Manage the local ecommerce plan in collaboration with the e-commerce team to reach conversion, sales & customer satisfaction objectives
      • Drive e-Content syndication with brand managers across all brands
      • Work with market digital teams and GLOBE to ensure no gaps in the NDG brand.com operation
      • Develop and execute Buy Now across relevant brands and touchpoints in collaboration with the e-commerce team as per alignment with the market e-commerce roadmap

    Key Requirements:

    • Matric
    • A Degree in Sales and Marketing / Commercial Degree with 3 years or more experience within FMCG
    • Ideal candidate should have experience in both Solid digital & social marketing expertise
    • Ability to analyse, interpret and react to real time trends and data
    • Proven track record in delivering digital marketing projects
    • Has consistently demonstrated success in a number of challenging and diverse business situations
    • Good Internet & social platforms technical and functional knowledge
    • Experience in managing signals to interpretate and react (real time analysis of trends and data, filtering, listening, adaptive – shorter lead times based on dynamic environmental changes)
    • Project management skills
    • Strong relationship management abilities
    • Basic knowledge and experience in BBNW
    • Experience working in cross functional teams
