Reporting to the Executive: Financial Accounting and Reporting, the Senior Specialist: Statutory Reporting & Technical Accounting will be responsible for the monthly, semi-annual & annual consolidations and statutory reporting requirements for the Group. The position coordinates with subsidiaries, Business Units, Internal and External Auditors. Hyperion and SAP experience is a pre-requisite.

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (NQF level 8)

Experience:

• 5+ years post-article experience, 3 of which must be in a statutory reporting role.
• Knowledge in preparing consolidated financial statements
• Expertise in IFRS, especially in the application and accounting consolidations, cash flows, acquisitions, disposals, and equity accounting.

Special Requirements:

• Valid Driver's licence.
• Security clearance-integrity assessment.
• SAP and Hyperion experience.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Technical and analytic skills
