Senior Account Manager at Wärtsilä

Job description

Manage sales activities and customer relationships for Key Accounts in order to reach sales and margin targets and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Very good communication, presentation, negotiation and organizational skills
• Good command of English: read, write and speak.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision with good time management skills and has a passion to grow the business.
• Ability to understand customers' key requirements, translate information into commercial offers and is able to upsell.
• Must possess a sense of urgency in order to get tasks done on time in full.
• Must be able and willing to travel locally and internationally.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good relationship builder (internal and external).
• Sales process & tools knowledge.
• Good track record of achieving sales targets.
• Technical product portfolio knowledge.
• Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint) SAP and CRM advantageous.
• Matric
• Bachelor degree / National Diploma in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or equivalent qualification with related experience At least 4-5 years sales experience in marine and power plant services (front-line sales/key account management) with a proven track record.
• Experience in solution selling highly desirable.
• Experience in negotiating contract/ service agreements at different organizational levels.
• Experience in building good business relationships with senior management in customer organization.
