    Business Development Manager

    Job description

    Job Function  

    The Business Development Manager is responsible for contributing to profitable growth through both organic and new business opportunity identification and solution selling.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Define value proposition and Go-to-Market strategy
    • Extract and analyse relevant business development intelligence
    • Identify new business opportunities; generate leads and build sales pipelines
    • Analyse opportunities with reference to value and profitability
    • Deliver sales to achieve targets
    • Ensure appropriate relationships are established across all identified levels within the client
    • Drive strategies to ensure maximum value extraction within existing strategic clients.
    • Drive client centricity by providing input, aligning and evolving company service offerings with needs identified at clients
    • Manage client contract renewals
    • Manage RFQ processes
    • Handle relevant reporting 

    Qualifications Required

    • Suitable tertiary qualification

    Skills & Experience Required

    • At least 5 years sales experience
    • Experience within a Logistics and/or Healthcare environment will be an advantage
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent relationship management skills
    • Influencing and negotiation skills
