    Outside Sales Specialist - VMware Portfolio

    Job description

    Can you combine a proven track record in sales with up-to-date knowledgeof technology? If you are passionate about what you do, the careerpossibilities at Dell will be second to none. We are looking for an Outside Sales Specialist – VMware tojoin our top-calibre team in Bryanston.

    Key Responsibilities

    VMware SoftwareSales Specialist is responsible for managing accounts, focusing on developingand retaining customers, as well as Acquisition of new customers or addingsoftware business to their existing Dell business

    • Beviewed as a trusted technical advisor to the customer and use in-depthknowledge of Dell’s 3rd party Software solutions to help customersformulate strategy and direction Identifying productgaps & sales opportunities based on insights and analysis
    • Be the regional Point of contact (trusted advisor) for VMwareProduct Portfolio
    • Manage accounts and ensure that they are keptinformed of any changes within Dell, including processes, services, productsand solutions
    • Driveincreased VMware sales achieving forecast in revenue and margin
    • Relate with segment generalist accountmanagers, field and inside, for account plan definition and implementation
    • Understand and support segment business plansto integrate VMware Solutions and volume licensing contracts
    • Leverage on the Software Solutions Value Propositionto increase customer satisfaction

    Essential Requirements

    • Bachelor’sDegree or equivalent
    • 6-10years proven track record of selling, preferrebly within the IT industry
    • Provenselling ability in previous job level alongside ability to influence others
    • Self-startercapable of working on your own initiative
    • Additionalskills needed include the ability to manage a virtual team, work with channelpartners and vendor partners
    • Providecustomer and competitor feedback to management
    • PreferredVMware VSP certifications
