Working as part of a prestigious company that has a wealth of knowledge, we are looking for a Sales consultant who is ready for a challenge

Your main responsibilities will be :

• Calling a large database and selling training events for Accountants, Auditors, Finance Staff
• Assisting delegate registrations telephonically and via email.
• Confirmation of bookings
• Ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained.
• Sell, cross and up-sell products to customers using the telephone as a medium;
• Interact regularly with other departments to assure full understanding of Sales process;
• Accurately capture customer and potential customer detail;
• Understand and assist with implementing the Call Centre sales strategy of the company;
• Obtain a thorough knowledge of the products of the company;
• Identify opportunities to improve sales process and share learnings with other executives and team leaders;
• Pro-actively seek out new ways of promoting the company’s products; Maintain record of calls made and the results of the call;
• Provide daily reports on calls made, sales achieved, etc;
• Undertake such other work as may be assigned to me from time to time. Such work can be outside the area of my normal duties;
• and all such tasks and duties as are reasonably and lawfully incidental to the above

Qualifications/ Experience

• Grade 12/ Matric certification
• Good telephone skill
• 2-3 years Event and Conferencing target driven sales (MUST)
• Proficiency in computer software programs, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to network
