Job description
About the Opportunity:
The role of a Business Development Manager is to acquire new corporate travel business in accordance with Corporate Traveller's sales process and systems to achieve agreed targets. He/she will develop corporate relationships with key decision makers in organizations to create new sales opportunities by means of corporate networking, client profiling, pitching to clients and cold calling i.e. Take Control of End-to-End sales process. The Business Development Mananger will present Corporate Traveller products and services in a compelling value based offering to maximize sales and profitability of new business.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate own leads and opportunities
Leverage networks within Coporate Traveller & client organizations to expand opportunities for new business
Meet agreed KPI’s for lead generation, conversion and profitability of new accounts
Preparation of professional and compelling travel proposals and sales presentations to corporate buyers
Build and maintain a network of relationships with key procurement executives and preferred suppliers.
Utilise and update CRM system for all client activity
Gather competitor intelligence to effectively counter competitor offerings
