    Sales Consultant

    Job description

    Job Summary

    The main responsibility of our Sales Consultants is to acquire new business while maintaining lasting relationships with current business client accounts. These individuals prospect for new clients, qualify leads and develop relationships while representing the Fachs brand. We require individuals that have experience in networking abilities as well as a proven ability to achieve goals and drive for results. Exemplary interpersonal skills, a high ability to influence others and strong listening skills are all key to success in this position.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive the sales pipeline – identification, acquisition and retention of clients.
    • Achieve personal sales targets by developing new business with existing and potential clients.
    • Take a solutions and consultative sell approach to ensure clients’ needs are accurately met.
    • Identify, target and develop business relationships that are aligned with the overall commercial strategy of the company.
    • Undertake cold calling, ensuring that the number of calls meets call targets as set by management.
    • Schedule and attend client meetings, ensuring that number of meetings meets targets as set by management.
    • Prepare proposals and detailed costing’s and draft contract documents for negotiation with clients.
    • Undertake proactive networking with all relevant external stakeholder groups to expand service delivery opportunities
    • Develop, maintain and apply a high level knowledge of the company’s portfolio of products and services.
    • Report on sales, activity and performance as required.
    • Ensure activities comply with legal and ethical standards as well as the company’s policies.
    • Actively monitor market trends through personal contact with clients and industry associated meetings/events and seminars. Providing feedback.
    • Develop strong and effective working relationships with the account management teams.
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures and the organisational standards/Code of Conduct.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • At least 3+ years of experience
    • Sales and Marketing Certificate / Diploma
    • Highly professional and motivated
    • Vibrant, positive and contribute to a culture which celebrates excellence and demands performance
    • Must have a demonstrated successful sales track record, solid negotiation skills, exhibit effective selling, listening, and verbal/presentation skills, and ability to assess and respond to customer needs.
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
