    Quality Assurance Pharmacist

    Job description
    Ready to go from Good to Great?
    A fantastic opportunity is available for a QA Pharmacist to join RB’s Quality team.

    This role is responsible for maintaining and improving Quality Standards of the business, by coordinating and conducting audits as well as evaluating audit reports to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented. You will be required to identify and resolves quality problems to actively contribute to the quality improvement of existing products through key KPI’s. You will assist with performing final product release and Annual Product Quality Reviews on all required products in compliance with regulatory requirements.

    As an integral member of an experienced and dynamic Quality team, you will be providing support and expertise to manufacturing personnel through relevant training and advice the QA Manager and Manufacturing Director of significant risks to the business. You will review consumer complaints and compile trending reports as required in order foster and develop a culture of quality within the manufacturing division.

    Is this you?

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and Manufacturing / processing knowledge.
    • Quality Systems (ISO / EFQM / HAZOP etc.)
    • Understand the production and packaging process and technology (pharmaceutical & chemical).
    • Sound knowledge of process control and principles / statistical evaluation (SPC)/ Validation.
    • Must be up to date at all times regarding knowledge of GMP and Regulatory requirements (MCC guidelines on Current Good Manufacturing Practice).
    • BPharm Degree and registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council.
    • Qualification in Quality Management Systems (ISO).
    • Min 3 years in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in a Pharmaceutical or FMCG company with 2 – 3 years in a supervisory / managerial position.
