    The Finance team enables OfferZen's growth to keep up with its ambitions. As a startup, effectively managing our finances is the backbone of our rapid growth. We see finance as a true value creating function, and we need more passionate people to help us win. We're looking for a world-class Accountant to join the team and help us in taking it to the next level.
    OfferZen is remote first with an Office in Cape Town and Amsterdam.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Prepare, maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts and prepare management accounts.
    • Take full ownership of and continuously improve on our payments process to create visibility, control and good spend decisions
    • Manage and negotiate with suppliers
    • Manage our cash including reporting and forecasting
    • Create and maintain order through filing and good internal processes
    • Prepare, analyse and communicate financial information to ensure the best decisions are being made
    • Assist with preparation and submission of VAT, tax, payroll and PAYE
    • Take full ownership of the fixed asset register

    What You Should Have

    • Finance degree
    • 2+ years in a Finance/Accounting role
    • Experience working in group companies with Inter-company transactions
    • Strong analytical/reporting skills
    • Advanced Excel, Google Sheets user
    • Uses technology and tools to improve the way you work
    • Strong drive to get things done with high personal standards and a demonstrated history of hard work
    • A great eye for detail
    • Strong problem solving skills, resourcefulness, practicalness
    • Discipline, diligence and take responsibility for own work
    • Understanding of the difference between the worlds of accounting and business
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong organisational skills and a love for creating order
    • Team player, passionate about learning and levelling up yourself & those around you
