    DevOps Engineer

    Experience in/an understand of the following:

    • Linux System Administration
    • Network Administration & Protocols (DNS, HTTP, TLS, Firewalls, NAT, VPN, VLAN)
    • Containerization and Orchestration (Specifically Docker and Kubernetes)
    • Reverse Proxies/Ingress Controllers (Such as Nginx, Traefik, HAProxy)
    • Database Servers/Storage Services/Cache Servers (Such as Postgres, Redis, Azure Blob Storage, Couchbase)
    • Build Servers/Services (Such as Azure Devops, TeamCity, Circle CI, Jenkins)
    • Cloud Infrastructure (Preferably Azure)
    • IaC tools (Such as Helm, Terraform, Ansible)
    • Git
    • Automated software testing and deployment
    • Estimation of and reporting on cloud billing

    Bonus points for:

    • Scripting or coding experience
    • Experience building and operating JVM applications/services.
    • Familiarity with the JVM/Java and the ability to read/understand Java exceptions/stack traces.
    • Windows AD experience.
