    PLC TECHNICIAN/ ENGINEER

    Required Education:

    • Associate diploma or degree
    • PLC technical certification
    • At least 3 years’ experience as PLC Technician

    Preferred Skills:

    • Computer and electronic skills
    • General knowledge in software engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering
    • Knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical processes of port machinery

    Duties:

    • Work on site with cranes, machinery etc
    • Troubleshooting
    • Spot and fix automated issues before develop into major costly repairs
    • Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems
    • Monitor automated systems
    • Isolate problems
    • Perform repairs
    • Any general functions that need to be addressed for smooth functioning of equipment and machinery on site, eg cranes
