    QEL - Implementation Coach

    Job Summary:

    The Implementation Coach will play a key role in both Digital Implementation and Quality Enablement, and will under the guidance of the Implementation Leader be involved in the following:

    • Subject Matter Resource (SMR) for Digital GAM, EY Canvas, EY Helix and other quality initiatives in deployment throughout Africa.
    • Assist in managing the network of engagement team coaches.
    • Coach higher risk engagement teams through implementation and assist teams in tracking the progress in executing the above initiatives and embedding coaching concepts into audit engagements with a focus on Digital GAM and other quality initiatives.
    • Participate in EMEIA Ambassador Network to remain up to date on quality solutions used to guide teams in problem resolution.

    Essential Functions of the Job:

    • Upskill audit teams, improving their confidence to deliver the EY Digital Audit priorities and make changes on how engagements are delivered.
    • Drive adoption of high priority and high quality transformation initiatives across Africa, including at a cluster, office and engagement level.
    • Create learning and other enablement materials and facilitate the deployment of learning programs, including gathering feedback for further improvements.
    • Pilot new solutions by supporting engagements into EY’s testing and pilot processes and feedback constructively.
    • Share success stories and challenges throughout the Implementation network.
    • Assist leadership in achieving plans and targets – Monitoring and reporting on progress, making constructive interventions.
    • Participate in EMEIA Ambassador Network to remain up to date on quality solutions used to guide teams in problem resolution.

    Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

    • Strong technical and working / practical knowledge of EY GAM and EY Policy.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organisation at all levels.
    • Skilled in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Good organization and co-ordination skills required.
    • High energy individuals with a positive outlook on change.
    • Ability to demonstrate strong project management and time management skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
       

    Supervision Responsibilities:

    • Will coach audit teams in performing implementation initiatives.

    Other Requirements:

    • May require occasional travel, both domestic and international.
    • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

    Education and Experience:

    Experience:

    • At least 5 years’ experience
