    Retail Manager

    We are looking for an experienced and vibrant Team Leader to manage our Bloemfontein store. The successful candidate will assume overall responsibility for the success of their stores by directing all operational aspects for each store, driving sales, customer service and leading store teams.

    Responsibilities:

    The following duties are associated with this job title, but not limited to:

    • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.
    • Ensure high levels of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service.
    • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
    • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
    • Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.
    • Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs including product training.
    • Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
    • Keeping stock shrinkage within acceptable parameters.
    • Additional store manager duties as needed.
    • Be a shining example of well behaviour and high performance.

    Skills & Experience Required:

    • A successful track record in a managerial role for at least two years
    • Computer literacy
    • Matric or equivalent
    • Customer service oriented
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Bilingual is advantageous
    • Contactable references
