    Senior Account Manager: Retail

    The role: 

    Taking ownership of large retail client relationships, exploring and developing sales into the retail market. Focusing on household name customers from food to fashion to uncover opportunities and evangelise our market-leading portfolio. Based in our Johannesburg office or working remotely, you’ll join a highly motivated and encouraging team in Africa, forming relationships with customers in order to drive brand preference for Zebra’s portfolio of products and services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Actively engage existing end-user customers and channel partners at C level to build plans that identify, develop, and enhance sales opportunities driving incremental revenue for Zebra.
    • Enthusiastically sell Zebra’s portfolio of software, hardware and services portfolio into relevant markets.
    • Identifying partners to drive account growth ensuring the broadest partner, ISV and alliance ecosystem. Executing and leading the go-to-market strategy for partners in collaboration with the rest of the channel team and other Sales teams
    • Work with cross functional teams to build appropriate engagement to deliver revenue targets.

    About you:

    We're looking for an outstanding senior Account Manager with a proven track record of working at C level within large retail customers.  A team-player who loves to collaborate to get results; curious in nature and with a resourceful, determined attitude.

    Demonstrable understanding of the end-user customers and relevant partners in the retail markets is important along with proven experience of selling products similar to Zebra's

    Key Skills:

    • Experience of selling technology to the retail sector is mandatory.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a proficient English speaker.
    • Experience of operating successfully in a multinational, matrix organisation will be an advantage.
    • A self-starter with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
