    Senior Client Liaison Officer

    Job Description
    Key Result Areas

    • Attend meetings/ liaise with OMIG boutiques, legal, compliance and various other teams within OMIG, as well as with custodians, consultants, outsource providers and external clients.
    • Reading of IMAs/Mandates and advising on the reporting requirements will be a requirement when new clients are on boarded
    • Responsible for setting up new clients/products from start-up point to finish
    • Responsible for client reporting to clients and consultants within the clients’ deadlines (adhoc, daily, monthly, quarterly, annual - including report generation)
    • Responsible for making sure CRM is up to-date with the correct information
    • Required to ensure that daily control procedures are adhered to
    • Responsible for prompt investigation and management of cash, scrip reconciliation issues to resolution
    • Instruct outsource provider to process client contributions and withdrawals and monitor that these are actioned timeously
    • Responsible for monitoring outsourced administration
    • Co-ordinate all processes to ensure excellent execution of client takeovers and disinvestments through liaising with relevant teams within OMIG, outsource provider, clients and/or consultants
    • Responsible for audit and Regulation 28 certificates and reporting
    • Provide daily cash forecasts to trading room as compiled by Decalog Support and respond to any queries
    • Co-ordinate the process to ensure management fees are recovered from client accounts as calculated by OMIG Finance
    • Act as the point of contact and resolution of all relevant queries for clients, consultants, portfolio managers, and client directors

    Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required

    • A commercial qualification is preferred
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the asset management industry is essential
    • Computer literacy
    • A good understanding of investment administration processes is essential with knowledge of segregated client reporting an advantage.
    • Good communication skills and a strong client orientation is essential
