    Strategy Executive

    About the job

    The Strategy Executive is a newly created role whose purpose is to serve as a transformational executive and key business partner to the CEO and the Executive Leadership team. This position is expected to look across the business to develop and refine strategy, identify areas of improvement and value while also evaluating disruptive industry trends, and identifying ways to work with counterparts to revolutionize product offerings, technological capabilities, customer-centric service models, etc. He or she will develop ground-breaking strategic initiatives to leverage emerging technology, innovative service models, and disruptive trends in the marketplace.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • As a forward-thinking leader, the Strategy Executive is responsible to oversee strategic planning and other initiatives that further our goal to best serve customers, enable employees, and effectively position LNSA as a recognized leader. He or she will lead and promote innovation and innovative culture at LNSA, as well as, engagement and alignment across the organization with the business strategic plan.
    • Develop and coordinate the planning process to maintain a sustainable and inspirational corporate strategic plan. Advise the CEO in planning for and implementing new initiatives.
    • Be a smart data visionary. Leverage data and data analytics to establish trends and strategies for process improvements. Work with colleagues to explore new technology and industry practices to ensure LNSA is on the cutting edge of industry disruptions and opportunities to implement innovative product offerings and customer-centric service models.
    • Remain up to date on new and emerging legislation and mandates. Shape strategy with respect to advanced research, policies, business intelligence, and technology. Anticipate and incorporate disruptive changes in industry practices, technology, and marketplace norms.
    • Work with Customer teams to identify and evaluate innovative service models and customer offerings to increase customer engagement and drive positive member satisfaction.
    • Forge innovative partnerships and work with thought leaders to devise a robust “Future” model. Develop deep industry connections by serving as a thought leader and subject matter expert on the technical challenges and business opportunities facing Legal Technology companies.
    • Partner with the leadership team to support the execution of key strategic initiatives. Foster trusting relationships in order to motivate the organization and to earn the support necessary for achieving strategic initiatives.
    • Supervise, manage or lead cross-department projects involving technology systems or solutions, facilitating the definition of project scope and requirements, and assisting in the assembly of the project team. Provide direction and support to the project teams. Manage project budget and track project deliverables using appropriate tools.

    Competencies

    • This role requires experience across a wide range of areas including but not limited to consulting, risk advisory, economic and financial risk advisory, financial services knowledge management.
    • Project management, strategy formulation, knowledge in driving business performance.
    • Business MI and reporting, administration, stakeholder management, finance, analytic insights, and research capabilities.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Relevant Honours Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics is essential.
    • MBA is advantageous
    • 6 - 8 Years’ experience in strategy and research is non-negotiable
    • 3 – 5 Years’ proven experience in Strategy formulation and execution is non-negotiable.
    • 2-5 Years in a Senior Management role is essential.
    • 6+ years’ experience with a background in corporate strategy and planning experience with a multi-national company
