Job Description

• Constructs solutions within the bigger programme environment.
• Contributes to logical design, physical systems design, module specifications as well as functional and data analysis/design.
• Liaises with project managers to ensure that project is delivered within agreed timeline.
• Gains business and system knowledge and keeps abreast of new developments.
• Participates in and contributes to the growth of the competency center's capability through various forums and COEs.
• Works closely with architects to determine broader architectural direction when constructing a solution.
• Ensure technical design is appropriate and supports future upgrades.
• Create Test cases
• Execute test cases within allocated timelines and maintain results
• Run automation test scripts and record results
• Log and track defects and fixes with development team
• Regression Testing

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Grade 12
• Relevant Diploma/ Degree (preferable)
• 3-5 years’ experience in field of IT Testing
