The Tech Talent Advisors (internally we refer to ourselves as Talent Advisors) keep the OfferZen marketplace going and are trusted to help support and guide our Developers, Designers and all people in tech using our marketplace to find a job. It is the perfect opportunity for someone who is energised by helping people, willing to go the extra mile to provide the best service and is passionate about developing people.
Tech Talent Advisors don’t work on commission, which enables them to focus on helping people rather than hitting revenue targets.
In this role you’ll be responsible for
Solving human problems relating to all phases of people's job search, from coaching people on interviews to giving advice on offer negotiation.
Working with our company-facing team to manage relationships and resolve issues between developers and companies.
Being an expert on tech marketplace knowledge that Developers and Designers rely on to succeed in their job search. When Developers apply to OfferZen you’ll help them create awesome profiles and prepare for interviews - and during their job search you’ll give them ongoing advice.
Collaborating with the product team to improve the platform for users as well as the tools we use internally.
We’re a data-driven company: you will have full access to the market data to help you make informed decisions. Analytical thinking will put you at an advantage.
Along with the platform itself, we built custom software that gives Tech Talent Advisors “superhuman” capabilities. Your insights will act as feedback for the product team and help them to make improvements and build new features.
You’ll love this job if you have:
Strong multi-tasking ability and great time-management skills - Talent Advisors are responsible for supporting many candidates at a time, and this means having the ability to stay on top of all of them and where they are in their job search. As a Talent Advisor, you will use various reporting tools to keep track of your candidates and collaborate with the internal OfferZen team!
A knack for speaking and active listening - Talent Advisors are the welcoming party for OfferZen users! So if you enjoy helping and coaching people, and are confident in your ability to communicate effectively, have great conflict resolution skills, and listen actively, then this might just be for you!
Strong intuition and emotional intelligence - Job searching is hard, Talent Advisors need to support candidates through tough conversations, and even scarier, through rejection!
The ideal Tech Talent Advisor:
Is passionate about technology and startups.
Has a university degree (or dropped out for an interesting reason).
Will go the extra mile to ensure an excellent customer experience.
