    Training and Quality Assurance Manager

    Job Summary

    Responsible for continuous improvement of performance through regular audits and identifying coaching and training needs to support the efficient and effective operation of the claims operational area.

    • Manage the QA function and ensure compliance.
    • Conduct quality audits in an accurate manner and timely manner
    • Provide weekly and monthly reports
    • Identify risks and mitigation of these risks.
    • Ensure resolution of escalation of quality of work and issues identified.
    • Active involvement in any investigation relative to loss prevention and fraud.

    • Actively motivate, develop and coach consultants to drive quality and results.
    • Create a high performing team and highly engaged team. Identify and assess
    • training needs of the organization through job analysis. Develop individual and group training programs to address specific business needs.
    • Develop training manuals that target tangible results.


    To deliver learning material & facilitation to ensure the enhancement of knowledge & skills, through the execution of predefined objectives as per agreed SOPs.

    Job Description

    To administer and offer excellent service to the internal business stakeholders: Ensure the effective rollout of the in the cluster by serving as a cluster super user for the end to end delivery. Provide cluster end users with assistance and training to enable user understanding and system utility. Liaise with Group Administrator to facilitate loading of training information onto the learning platform to enable both usability and monitoring of progress. Participate, by timeously identifying cluster learning requirements and ensuring that are factored into the learning planning and portal considerations, in the cluster roll out of the assignment of Online and offline courses to fast track the learning cycles and commitment of all employees . Proof read the content of all cluster specific online courses and communicate all content related issues to the content provider. Make use of reporting and tracking tools on Talent Learning System to create lists of people who need to complete courses or be assigned tasks, thereby enabling the learning community to track learning performance overall. Generate standard and responsive cluster MII to empower business dialogue and decisions on the status of learning in critical learning areas | End user/System Enablement: Provide Managers with regular reports to enable the (WHO?) to chase up people who are overdue in their training requirements by creating reporting and MI capability for line managers to take ownership of the corrective process. Act as a cluster contact point for learning management queries to enable smooth rollout of the business activities. Liaise with employees and assist in resolving ad hoc issues emanating from their use of the LMS and thus enable them to use the LMS to its full capability. Act as the primarily point of contact with the Group LMS Administrator to enable seamless integration with new and emerging LMS trends. Work closely with the Group LMS Administrator to report any issues that might arise and any new business requirements which may impact the quality and configuration of the LMS. Form part of and actively engage in LMS Community of Practice within Absa to promote sharing of information and practices with LMS peer and colleagues and thus promote a culture of learning from fellow professionals | Cluster alignment and integration: Ensure, in consultation with the Cluster L&D community and line managers, that planned learning activities can be supported by the LMS and advising accordingly Escalate all LMS challenges resulting from cluster learning plans to the Group LMS Administrator for timeous and effective solutions without slowing down the cluster learning pulse. Conduct cluster based client surveys on the effectiveness of the LMS and communicate recommendations for improvement or changes to the Group LMS Administrator Be part of the system review and quality assurance on the LMS under the flagship of the Group LMS Administrator and/or Learning technology Manager | : | : | : | : | :
