In a fast-paced environment, you'll:

• Ensure a safe and compliant working environment, maximum uptime and quality compliance, for Utilities and Facilities in Manufacturing.
• Optimize "up-time" whilst controlling costs in the department.
• Own all activities and tasks related to asset care/maintenance in your area including participation in maintenance planning, execution of the maintenance plan, breakdown management as well as tracking and controlling associated costs.
• Manage maintenance resources in your designated area.
• Provide project support where needed.

Desired Skills and Experience
A formal bachelors engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering

• GCC Factories required
• 5 Years post experience within a maintenance department in a FMCG manufacturing plant
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Must have experience working in an environment with strong quality management processes in place.
• Must have experience working in an environment with strong health and safety processes in place.
• Must have had exposure to world class manufacturing and or lean manufacturing principles.
• Must have a thorough understanding of Maintenance Practices
• Must have a thorough understanding of Engineering/Technical principles
• Must have strong leadership skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills, including presentation skills, listening, writing, oral
