    Accountant

    Work Standard

    • Provide a professional financial service
    • Communicate and liaise effectively with Finance Executive and all staff
    • Pay significant attention to detail
    • Produce accurate and thorough work on time

    • Think pro-actively and pre-empt needs
    • Maintain or improve staff morale and motivation

    Knowledge

    • MS Office and Outlook, internal systems, EFT Banking
    • Understanding of BCEA provisions, including leave and sick leave
    • Understanding of UIF and WCA processing requirements
    • Understanding of Accounts principles, including creditors, invoicing, disbursements,     reconciliations, petty cash control
    • Familiarity with organisational structure, systems, policies and procedures
