    Accounts Manager, Intrusion Systems

    What you will do
    Account Manager, Intrusion Systems, is a key role of Security Products within the South Africa Region and reports to the Branch Manager, Tyco Intrusion. You will be based in Johannesburg and operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts.
    You will be building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers as well as developing new business from existing clients and actively seeking new sales opportunities.

    How you will do it
    As an Accounts Manager, you will serve as the lead point of contact for all assigned customer account management matters. You will build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. You will develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
    You will ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. You will develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas as well as collaborate with the team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.

    What we look for
    Required

    • Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in smart living system sales as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
    • University degree or equivalent
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
    • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, CRM) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel, and Teams)
    • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
    • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
    • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
