    Advanced Application Specialist - Ultrasound

    Role Summary:

    • Responsible for providing formal technical and clinical support during the sales process within in a limited geographic region or limited industry/product segment. Responsibilities may include providing required pre-sale product demonstrations (or clinical trial support) and post-sale installation, training and/or customer service activities and ongoing customer support, including on site clinical in-servicing and go-live support. May be required to play leadership role within local team

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • To collaborate on projects with our customers and/or develop commercial applications
    • Develop and sustain Reference Sites/ Luminaries ‘collaborations
    • Provide application support to sales teams and coordinate Advanced Application team to report (clinical) studies and create selling tools
    • Interface between Product, commercial marketing and advanced applications to integrate product roadmap requirements
    • Develop (clinical) competition intelligence to support the field with counter arguments and selling advantages
    • Plan, conduct and report customer related application projects
    • Communicate customer feedback to central and Product teams for pilots and NPIs, transfer (clinical) expertise into product roadmap definition
    • Establish and maintain close contacts and collaboration with external researchers (directly and through sales organization) to build a network of high profile customers by developing advanced applications with them and create or sustain Reference sites
    • Assist with the reporting of data at scientific congresses, customer seminars and internal training events
    • Facilitate and support the transfer of this information into the corresponding marketing and product management teams
    • Provide product support to sales, marketing and demonstration teams
    • Assist with customer engagements, focus groups, user groups, advisory boards and other market-related activities to assist in the collection, definition and validation of market needs and requirements

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Highly qualified in clinical applications - ultrasonography
    • At least 7 years experience in medical industry; sales experience optional
    • Customer contact experience
    • Experience in communicating scientific data (talks, posters, papers)
    • Bachelor’s degree in ultrasonography essential or equivalent knowledge or experience
    • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location
