Job description

• To carry out Transit checks and non-routine rectification under the supervision of the certifying Engineer, cabin inspection, maintenance and repair on passenger and crew seats, galleys, toilets, aircraft cabin equipment, fixtures & fittings associated with the aircraft cabin interior, in accordance with the approved maintenance and company procedures and as per airworthiness/ regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the In Flight Entertainment system to ensure optimum serviceability. This includes bite and physical testing, IFE audit inspection, replacement of components and rectification of reported defects.
• The Technician, working in shifts, will be responsible for ensuring that aircraft allocated to them are maintained to the highest level.
• Carry out refuelling and headset duties.
• Carry out station admin and housekeeping duties
• Completed an apprenticeship or formal training from an approved organisation in Aircraft Maintenance.
• At least 5 years experience in a civil aircraft-engineering environment including in an airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organization.
• Experienced on A330/340 and B777 aircraft preferred.
• An in-depth knowledge of maintenance safety, human factors and general engineering practices is an essential requirement.
• Full valid driving license
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English and computer literate
