Assistant Retail Manager at Trappers Outdoor

Responsibilities:

The following duties are associated with this job title but are not limited to:

• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.
• Ensure high levels of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service.
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
• Keeping stock shrinkage within acceptable parameters.
• Additional assistant manager duties as needed.
• Be a shining example of well behaviour and high performance.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A successful track record in an Assistant Managerial/Supervisory role for at least one year in retail
• Computer literacy
• Matric or equivalent
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Bilingual is advantageous
