    Associate 3 - Intelligent Automation

    Intelligent Automation – Associate

    Description of Role:

    • As an Intelligent Automation (IA) Specialist in IT Consulting, you will be part of an international team working on exciting projects that are leveraging digital capabilities to transform the way corporations operate and work.
    • You will support exciting clients in various industries (such as banking, telco, insurance, and others) throughout the entire IA journey and will gain exposure across multiple areas, inclusive of automation identification, development, implementation and operations.
    • Working in a team, you will interact with various client and collectively assist them in activating operational efficiencies by exploring, identifying and implementing digital capabilities that will include RPA, OCR, Chat, Machine Learning and other exponential technologies.
    • You will be responsible for meeting all delivery quality and deadline requirements in your role of being able to identify, automate and operationalise key processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform automation identification.
    • Support the assessment of the data including data validation and profiling.
    • Configuration of Intelligent Automation process components, including process flows, control objects, exception handling etc. (EY is technology agnostic so exposure and experience in multiple technologies is encouraged)
    • Successfully develop the required components to successfully automate complex processes, including the delivery of process flows, control objects, exception handling etc.  
    • Write & maintain data process flows.
    • Identify and optimise processes where applicable.
    • Ability to work on Surface Automation
    • Assistance with data conversion and interfacing activities.
    • Providing architectural control over solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across the company’s delivery teams.
    • Identifying new opportunities and accurately analysing and estimating new processes, quickly assessing feasibility.
    • Analysing, understanding and documenting the business processes in detail where required.
    • Identifying and communicating the technical infrastructure requirements.
    • Creating and maintaining solution documentation.
    • Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
    • Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases
    • Supporting the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases 

    Qualification/s & Experience:

    The ideal candidate should have or be in the process of obtaining:

    • Experience in business process improvement and mapping (e.g. in MS Visio, ARIS).
    • Experience in developing Chat Bots, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and OCR capabilities.
    • Experience in Lean Six Sigma is also an advantage
    • Experience in SSIS, Chat, Python, MS offerings and R are an advantage  
    • Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point); programming experience would be regarded as an advantage.
    • Java experience is preferred
    • Ability to communicate efficiently in a customer facing environment and identify business needs.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks in line with business objectives.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Our IT Risk & Assurance services are designed for the dual purpose of strengthening internal controls and, in so doing, helping to improve IT and business performance. In addition to assurance-related engagements such as financial attestation and ISAE 3402 engagements, our IT risk advisory services focus on IT governance and effectiveness; IT program management and assurance; security and controls of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations; and business intelligence and information analysis.     • Working experience in performing business process controls review, access controls review (e.g., segregation of duties) and project risk assessments in an ERP environment.  Having experience in continuous controls monitoring and controls optimization type of work would be an advantage.

    • In-depth knowledge on key risks and expected controls (including compensating controls) in one or more business processes (e.g., procure to pay, and financial statement close)

    • Understanding of and/or implementation experience with a variety of GRC tools (e.g., SAP GRC and Oracle ICM)

    To qualify for the role, you must have:

    • A recognized university degree in accounting, business, information technology, engineering, mathematics or other relevant discipline

    • At least 4 years of relevant consulting or industry experience, preferably in a professional services environment or MNC.

    Your key responsibilities

    To qualify for the role, you must have
