We’re looking to appoint an Audit Senior or Junior Audit Manager registered/eligible AGA(SA) or CA(SA),  that are interested in working as the Audit Manager at a Medium-sized audit firm in Secunda. It is a good opportunity to gain experience in a managerial role with a nice spread of portfolio clients. 

Job Objective:

Primarily the role will be reporting directly to the firm's directors, for the planning, execution & review of engagement files, training and development of staff, SAICA trainee administration, and client liaison. 

Primary responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of the engagement assignments;
• Manage engagements within budgets and deadlines;
• Effectively manage, motivate and mentor staff;
• Identify new business opportunities;

Competency requirements:

• Strong technical ability (IFRS for SME’s, Companies Act, International Standards of Auditing), 
• Project management skills
• Emotional intelligence
• Good communication skills
• Enjoy working in teams 
• Self-motivated
• Cope under pressure and achieve deadlines.

Candidate specification:

• Eligible CA(SA) / AGA(SA)
• Preferably between 0-4 years post articles experience
• Previously worked as an Audit Senior / Audit Manager is beneficial.

Expected monthly salary:

• Cash Compensation: R25 000, with reward incentives.
