A JSE-listed investment holding company is in search of an energetic individual to join their finance department in the role of Bookkeeper, reporting to the Financial Manager.
Requirements
Relevant accounting qualification - Degree / Diploma
Minimum 3 Years’ Previous Experience In Bookkeeping
Pastel experience. Experience in company secretarial matters (e.g. Companies and Intellectual Properties Commission submissions)
Some duties but not limited to:
- Preparation of EFT payments/transfers between accounts
- Cash management
- Daily reporting of cash balances
- Monitoring of debtor collections and reporting thereof
- Processing of cashbook
- Reconciling petty cash
- Maintain Fixed asset Register
- Preparation of balance sheet record
- Prepare monthly creditor payments
- Secretarial and administration
- Full company secretarial function for dormant and small entities at a head office level
- Completion and submission of secretarial returns (e.g. annual returns, directorship changes).
