Business Intelligence Analyst at RCL FOODS

We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Vector Logistics Talent Pool.

The role will be based at our Head office in Westville and report to the Supply Chain Executive. RCL FOODS is looking for an individual that has strong customer service ethos and high analytical ability.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferably 4 years’ experience in an FMCG (or similar) organisation including analytical and reporting responsibilities. 
• BCOM / BSC degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Accounting / Stats or similar with 4 years’ relevant experience. Post graduate degree would be advantageous.
• Experience in customer service is advantageous.
• Strong systems background would stand a candidate in good stead.
• Candidate should be able to draw insight from analysis, communicate effectively, and be able to influence peers and superiors.
• Microsoft Excel, Qlikview, SAP R/3 and BW, Power BI
• Understanding of system interfaces and integration

Responsibilities:

• As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for providing centralised reporting and analytical functionality centered around end to end customer service to increase revenue.
• Scope the current reporting requirement (which is currently carried out within the Supply Chain and Operations functions), centralise the daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirement and continually optimise the way in which the reports are generated and disseminated.
• Reporting on, and providing insight into, all areas of loss and will hold various teams accountable for continual improvement through corrective action. To provide leadership in projects centered around innovation and technical advancement in this area.
