Role Summary

The RCL FOODS Talent Acquisition Team is recruiting for a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to join our pioneering Sugar business unit. The position is based in Malelane, and reports in to the Akwandze Board.

As the CEO: Akwandze, You will be responsible for leading and managing an organization which provides financial services, within the sugarcane value chain, to Mpumalanga Sugar Cane Small Scale Growers and Land Restitution Projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• B. Degree/ Masters (preferably Agricultural Economics and/or Finance)
• An in depth, practical knowledge of Sugar Cane Farming within South Africa
• A proven track record in negotiation skills, ability to interact at the highest levels of the cane industry (SASA), facilitating discussions between Industry Bodies, Farming and Community associations and Government.
• Minimum 10 years industry experience
• Proven ability to apply Systems
• Sound Judgement and Risk Assessment skills
• Financial business acumen
• Experience in loan risk management
