Your tasks

• Acting as a member of the Local Management Team (MT) and the Board of Directors,
• Working with the General Manager and MT members to define and develop the business strategy and effective communication
• Financial management and responsibility for accounting, reporting, treasury and business planning and analysis (BP&A)
• Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), as well as financial controls and risk management processes and supporting Teva corporate policy implementation
• Working closely with international finance teams, business units, cluster as well as with supporting functions on analysis, budget, forecast and closing reports
• Liaising with Group Finance, equity, disposal, external auditors, tax advisors, lawyers and banks to ensure audit and compliance requirements under local GAAP and US GAAP are met
• Play a key role in the commercial development, making decisions and driving performance across the business
• Responsibility for Commercial, Supply chain and IT teams

Do you have?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration / Economics or a related field
• Over 5 years of experience as CFO/ Finance Director preferably in a pharmaceutical industry in South Africa
• 15 years of experience in finance positions in multination environment
• Strong track record in leadership, team management and developing people
• In-depth knowledge of corporate Finance and Accounting, laws and best practices, controlling SMM, and Audit
• Strong Business Acumen and change understanding
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-awareness and commitment to deliver great results
