The main objective of this role is to create a common understanding of the company’s information and data assets that allow stakeholders to identify business improvement opportunities and identify business-IT misalignment by developing an integrated view of the enterprise’s data and information.

To apply, you need to have a relevant Degree coupled with 10 years’ IT industry experience and proven experience in transactional data modeling (Normalisation), dimensional modeling (Star & Snowflake Schema) and object-oriented modelling.

You need to have 5+ years’ experience with IT projects from an Information and Data architecture and design perspective (SDLC) as well as 5 years’ experience in the following:

• Retail industry experience;
• Experience creating enterprise information and data models incorporating all layers of enterprise data architecture (Such as Canonical modeling, TDS, ODS, EDW, Data Marts, Business Intelligence, Data Quality, Meta-data, Master Data, Reference Data, Data Access and provisioning, Data Security, Data Governance, and SOA experience).
• Experience in a leadership role in an Information and Data analysis environment;
• Experience in implementing, using and administering EA tools and EA meta-model definition (3 years); and,
• Business, applications, data, and technology architectures experience (3 years).

On the softer side, you need to have strong analytical, problem-solving and logical skills with attention to detail. You will have to rely on your ability to deliver compelling presentations to all levels of stakeholders as well as your excellent communication and relationship building skills.
