    Desktop Support Technician for the Johannesburg area

    We're are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician for the Johannesburg area to Support and  provide desktop support to end-users including 2nd Level Application and Technical Support to PayU clients remotely and via personal interaction.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for resolving all end-user IT incidents/ requests related to end user devices and software including ticket management with SLA parameters.
    • Provide hardware support at client sites including Desktop / Laptop / Network / Printer / End User Devices
    • Respond to Incidents and Requests assigned via the ITSM Tool
    • Assess, review and resolve assigned calls within stipulated SLA
    • Troubleshoot software and hardware related incidents and requests
    • Liaise with end users to effectively reach resolution on incidents and requests

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    • Matric
    • A+
    • 5 years + Desk top support experience 
    • MCSE (advantageous)
    • AppleMac Certification (advantageous)
    • Relevant IT diploma (advantageous)
    • ITIL Foundation (advantageous)
    • Valid Drivers License with own vehicle (advantageous)
