    Digital Communications Consultant

    The Role

    Grapevine is looking for a professional Digital Communications Consultant who will build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients on behalf of Grapevine.
    This position requires sales expertise and knowledge of digital communication products and services to manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities professionally.
    The Digital Communications Consultant will be the main point of contact for key accounts and always strive to provide clients with products and value that best fit their individual needs.

    Responsibilities:​​​​​​​
    1. Digital Communications Client Management

    • Enterprise client management: Manage new and existing enterprise client accounts, ensuring client requirements and queries are managed and solved.
    • Client performance management: Effectively manage client account performance and communicate trends, issues or sales opportunities to the business.
    • Customer relationship management: Build strong professional relationships with clients based on trust, respect and an ability to help clients solve their needs.
    • Client demonstrations and workshops: Setup, manage and run client demonstrations and workshops. Must effectively collaborate and work with other internal business departments.
    • Project management: Manage client projects ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and according to client expectations.
    • Client and internal communication: Ensure that all relevant parties are kept up to date on project developments at all phases of a project. This includes changes in timings, costs and any issues arising.
    • Industry research: Identify relevant industry trends and effectively communicate throughout the business.
    • Teamwork and collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfil client needs and reach prospective clients.
    • Internal processes: Ensure that internal client management systems are kept up to date and provide useful, relevant information for business use.

    2. Business Development

    • New business development: Effectively work with the commercial team on new business development opportunities.
    • Identify new sales opportunities within existing client accounts.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Must have a business-related degree (B.Comm, BA, BSc) with a sincere interest in technology and digital communications.
    • Needs to enjoy working with people and effectively managing client relationships.
    • Must be a professional with a strong aptitude to manage enterprise client accounts.
    • Good written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to create professional client account reports and project plans.
    • Good knowledge of multiple digital communication channels would be beneficial.
    • Needs to be an excellent team player with a strong capability to collaborate with others to achieve project deliverables effectively.
    • Knowledge of CRM's would be beneficial.
